wq-dLBT-UbqThis website is dedicated to showcasing the research, news, and findings of Dr. Karen Allen's research lab. The lab is leading the way for innovative and cutting-edge research at Boston University's Chemistry Department. Learn more about the lab members in the Meet the Lab section of the website.

The research in the Allen Lab primarily focuses on x-ray crystallographical studies of enzymes, including Botulinum Neurotoxins (BoNT), Haloalkanoic Acid Dehalogenase Superfamily (HADSF), and Hotdog Fold Thioesterases. The lab is also developing tools for use in NMR, crytallography, and luminescence spectroscopy studies in the Lanthanide Binding Tag (LBT) project. Learn more about these on the projects page.
